Golden Nugget Lake Charles is the leading concert venue in the region, attracting classic and current acts throughout the year from Johnny Mathis to Candlebox in its 2,000-seat Grand Event Center. Its Blue Martini lounge has live music to go with tapas and cocktails from Wednesday to Sunday. Rush Lounge offers live music 7 nights a week.
L’Auberge Casino Hotel has a trio of venues for live music in addition to its larger auditorium which hosts artists such as Robert Cray, Gin Blossoms, and Mark Chesnutt. Ember Grille & Wine Bar is a sublime escape for its easy atmosphere, great wine selection, and live piano music. L Bar features live music Fridays and Saturdays in a tranquil setting. For a more energetic scene, 18 Steak Entertainment, is the place to be every Friday and Saturday.
Rikenjaks Brewing Company is housed in a fully-restored 70-year-old Midtown Lake Charles bungalow. Originally founded in 1992, Rikenjaks offers Louisiana comfort food and outdoor patio dining. Live music is a constant, usually on the patio but also indoors on Friday and Saturday night. Open-mic night, blues brunch, and Sunday jazz, this pub seems to have it all.
Panorama Music House is open 7 days a week where you can enjoy globally-inspired street foods, hand-tossed pizzas, games, and a pet-friendly patio in a beautifully restored building in historic downtown Lake Charles. PMH is well known for its Zydeco Saturday brunch.
